Aataman -”meaning reflection of soul”

A home that balances playfulness and simplicity through thoughtful color and craft.

The brief for this home was clear: use bright, joyful colors to set the mood, but keep the overall feel light, simple, and balanced. Together with the client, we explored a palette that ranged from mustard yellow to deep navy blue—colors that added energy without overwhelming the space.

One material we both gravitated toward was cane. Light, textural, and timeless, it was used thoughtfully throughout the home to add warmth without visual weight.

For kids’ room, the goal was to create a multifunctional oasis for two young boys—a space where they could play, study, and sleep comfortably. To add a playful touch, we designed custom animal-shaped handles & custom names handles for their storage units—blending utility with imagination.

From hidden doors to little breakfast nook in the kitchen, this home reflects what we love most: a collaborative process, design choices, and crafting spaces that feel as joyful as they are functional.
